The Position

We are looking for a VP of Engineering with experience managing agile development teams, Infra and QA. You will lead a team of developers and engineers, the team organization, and short-to-medium-term technology direction. You will have a personal relationship with every engineer and will make the best use of strengths of everyone in your team.


You will be fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Tech team. This includes people management, staffing, hiring, project management and delivering of the product roadmap amongst others.

  • Design, implement, and monitor all operations and key performance metrics/operational efficiency for the engineering team
  • Develop on the standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are met and maintained, while being agile
  • Understand and collaborate on the complete product lifecycle from concept to execution
  • Recommend and drive new technology and ideas to improve efficiency
  • Recruit and develop top engineering talent
  • Develop effective ways to communicate, monitor, and lead your team through regular 1:1s and team meetings
  • Plan the annual budget for the engineering department that includes employee incentives, tooling costs, and other overheads
  • Execute and scale projects to take the product to market on time
  • Work with engineers and peers alike within the company to develop and execute company strategy
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders at the company toward company-wide goals related to financial achievement, product innovation, and overall growth.


  • B.S. and an advanced degree in a technical field required (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with minimum of 5 years of experience managing tech teams. At least 5 years' experience in SaaS enterprise product development.
  • Strong background working in a similar stack (JVM, PostgreSQL, AWS).
  • Strong and demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
  • Solid verbal, visual, and written communication skills in English with the ability to explain approach to all levels in the organization including key stakeholders
  • Proven experience into growing, developing, retaining talent as well as building solid processes and monitoring performance and productivity
  • Previous working experience in software design and developing customer-orientated platforms.
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset, with proven capabilities to lead and engage with Customers  contributing directly for the success of the wider Oradian teams (Sales, Marketing, Product).
  • Demonstrated longevity and a track record of success at multiple organizations
  • Experience working remotely and managing a distributed team
