Strategic Finance Project Manager

We are looking for a high-performing Strategic Finance Project Manager to implement process improvements, tooling, financial analysis of our operational activities and support for our global business operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for continuously improving our business processes in the finance department as well as for analysing and forecasting financial results across all markets and entities of Oradian Group.

The successful applicant will work closely with the company’s founders and head of finance on strategic financial projects, such as audits, to ensure that the company finances are being managed appropriately. It is expected that the occupant of this position will work on site with supporting board meetings.

Applicants must have proven finance, accounting and analytical skills, they should understand the current market environment of the organisation, map the business-level challenges to the finance area and drive the program accordingly.


Strategic Projects

  • Define and implement scalable processes across all areas of our finance team
  • Select adequate IT tooling to automate processes
  • Support our founders and the head of finance for all legal, tax and budgeting related questions for the opening of new markets across Africa and Asia
  • Work closely with our international legal and tax advisors help shape the future structure of Oradian Group
  • Lead and work on ad-hoc projects with strategic importance

Budgeting and financial reporting

  • Understand and streamline the companies accounting processes
  • Support all department heads with their budgeting
  • Define and track financial KPIs
  • Analyse the company’s financial performance
  • Support management’s decision making based on financial indicators

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum of five years of experience in one or ideally both:
    • Controlling
    • Process optimisation and tooling within finance departments
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Office 365 and Excel
  • Proven knowledge of process and business systems improvements and implementation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in fast pace and high growth environments
  • Experience plus: Managing teams and operations

  • Tech-savy
  • Fluent in English
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
