Oradian provides cloud-based tools for financial inclusion to financial institutions in Africa and Southeast Asia. We are poised to scale operations in the eleven countries we currently work in while entering new markets.

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Specialist to join the customer acquisition team and to support Oradian’s business expansion. The successful applicant will be responsible to work with customers and technical staff to discover their needs and to work closely with sales and product teams to ensure that the products being offered are in line with customers’ requirements and industry standards.

Applicants must be able to interact with multiple stakeholders from technical, to development to C-suite.

Responsibilities

  • Support Business Development Managers in qualifying and closing sales opportunities
  • Engage in product training to maintain high level of product knowledge
  • Prepare and deliver in-depth and technical product demonstrations to prospects and Business Development Managers
  • Analyse and evaluate potential customers’ requirements to ensure a smooth handover of customers to implementation team
  • Provide the product team with market insights and recommendations for feature developments
  • Keep up-to-date with industry and market trends, take part in sector meet-ups and conferences and build a circle of potential customers


Qualifications and experience

  • BS or master’s in business, banking, microfinance, engineering, technology or related field
  • Technical Sales or Product Implementation experience in B2B / Enterprise sales, or complex sales with multiple stakeholders, and custom requirements


Competencies

  • Being able to communicate both verbally and in writing about technical terms with multiple stakeholders
  • Persuasive in product presentations
  • The ability to interpret a client’s requirements and respond in a thoughtful and meaningful manner
  • Rely on problem-solving acumen to analyse customer issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Understanding how a financial services organisation works on the inside
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and financial technologies and paradigms/concepts (business software applications, cloud technologies, IT Systems)
