Legal Manager

We are looking for a Legal Manager who will work directly with the Head of Finance and other decisions makers to ensure that the company’s legalese is structured well and that we are compliant with national laws in all territories we operate in.

The ideal candidate will be able to work accurately on all legal aspects of our business and support executives with their decision-making process. The candidate is also expected to take on the role of a Company Secretary in direct cooperation with the board.

Oradian provides cloud-based tools for financial inclusion to financial institutions in both Africa and Southeast Asia. We are poised to scale operations in the six countries we currently work in while also entering new markets.


  • Serve as a second point of contact for the local company secretary, tax advisor and accountant
  • Deal with matters as the Company Secretary
  • Liaise with lawyers regarding all legal and regulatory matters, such as changes of constitutional and legal documents
  • Coordinating due diligence processes and collaborate with the Head of Finance on fundraising matters
  • Coordinate of all legal matters
  • Define and maintain the terms and conditions of our products and services
  • Work with management on researching expansion into new countries 
  • Define company policies
  • Deal with regulators internationally


You will need:

  • A degree in legal, finance or related topic
  • Five plus years experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a fast growth environment
  • Experience managing and dealing with legal documentation and other matters


  • Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence providing support to the executive team
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver to strict deadlines
  • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels within the organisation and with external parties
