Junior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the company's development and QA teams by building and administrating continuous integration and delivery of infrastructure.

As Oradian is poised to grow its customer base exponentially every year, the Junior DevOps Engineer will need experience and ample enthusiasm to support the fast-paced development of the company.


Responsibilities

You will be required to:

  • Support the company's development and QA teams by building and administrating continuous integration and delivery of infrastructure
  • Provide procedures for automating build, test, deployment and monitoring of the whole software release cycle
  • Administer servers providing CI/CD infrastructure


Qualifications and experience

Essential

  • 3 years experience on development projects
  • Knowledge of project build and release cycle
  • Experience writing scripts in Python, bash

Desirable

  • Knowledge of CI/CD procedures and practices
  • Continuous integration/delivery tool experience, such as Jenkins
  • Working with configuration management tools (SaltStack, Puppet…)
  • Virtualization and container platforms (Docker, VMWare, KVM)
  • Agile methodologies


Competencies

  • You must be able to work well under pressure and prioritise assignments accordingly
  • You should be a multitasker
  • You will have detail-oriented vision
  • Fluency in English is essential
