The Position

Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this role is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to build out the People function of an ambitious, growing Tech company.


Responsibilities

  • Further build out processes across recruitment, on- and off-boarding and performance management.
  • Own new initiatives around talent identification and retention, employee engagement and employer branding, and collaborate closely with relevant colleagues across Oradian to achieve measurable results.
  • Deliver against our hiring targets.
  • Develop a cohesive approach to operating as a remote team, including all necessary policies and management practices, ensuring engagement and a great working environment.
  • Line manage one to two individual contributors.


Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a People function, of which at least 2 as a manager.
  • Substantial experience of all relevant processes in the full employee lifecycle from on- to offboarding, including but not limited to recruitment, contracts, payroll and performance management best practice.
  • Hands-on experience of managing in and building processes in a remote-first, high growth environment.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships in a cross-functional team of managers.
  • Experience of working with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • High motivation to build an important part of the company as we scale. Previous experience in a startup environment would be a strong plus.


Location & Time Zone: Anywhere in Europe. Travel required (Within Europe 1x month, Asia/ Africa 1x month)
