This will primarily involve in-depth understanding of the Oradian way, comprehension of selected markets, defining and the implementation of the go-to market strategy. Continually strengthen the company’s brand and market presence, while differentiating Oradian from the noise.
 
The Head of Brand and Communications responsibilities include leading an established team of communication specialist, developing strategies, building on the established brand, allocating resources management on multiple projects running in parallel and reaching short-term objectives. You will design, implement and monitor effective communication strategies that align with our business goals. It is essential that you inspire your team and colleagues, while demonstrating and delivering success.
 
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a passion for this opportunity, able to employ unique techniques, creativity and leverage a balanced a practical mindset with a business acumen and leadership through complex operations. You will be proficient in verbal, written and presentation skills to convey and deliver the set objectives with creativity and enthusiasm. And you would have done this before.
 
At this stage of the Oradian journey, the role of Head of Brand and Communications will report directly to the CEO and will work with all areas of the business. This role is based in Zagreb, Croatia with extensive travel.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the areas of communication in its widest definition, while working closely with the CEO in steering the direction of the desired tone and messaging
  • Leading and mentoring a highly efficient team of professionals, the Brand and Communication team
  • Defining strategy and implementation to objectives set
  • Deliver and support to the communication’s team responsibilities, which, include evergreen, campaign and business as usually content
  • Engaging and overseeing campaign management, public relations, internal communications, and content production, creative work and managing external agencies
  • Set, monitor and report on team goals and defined metrics
  • Developing messaging for respective markets and campaign objectives
  • Ensure our brand message is consistent across all channels and efforts (including but not limited to: events, campaigns, online and promotional material, communication, PR, investor and internal communication)
  • Analyse customers and their behaviour to ensure we deliver to the promise of being customer-centric
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Monitor competitors’ activities
  • Conduct general research to keep abreast of trends
  • Coordinate efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Define quarterly team and strategic objectives and ensure they are aligned to the company objectives
  • Content planning
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organise effective marketing events
  • Manage external relationship with 3rd parties such as media, stakeholders and potential customers, and create a solid network of strategic partnerships
  • Monitor all campaigns and improve when necessary
  • Prioritize projects and allocate resources accordingly
     
     

Requirements

  • Work experience as Head of Marketing, Head of Communication, Marketing/Communication Director at least three years
  • Must have, 2 of 3 sector experience: Financial services, enterprise technology solutions, and/or emerging markets
  • Demonstrable experience developing strategies (branding, campaigns, product promotions, messaging, etc.) based on market segmentation
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to set priorities while navigating project constraints
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude and creativity
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions quickly
  • Must take accountability and pride in the work delivered
  • BSc/BA or MSc in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
  • Done this before
