We are looking for a Communications professional to join and lead Oradian’s Communications team. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively work with the other teams within Oradian: Customer Acquisition, Customer Success, Talent and Culture and Finance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating content and developing content strategies that drive sales, building on our existing brand, and overseeing PR in our markets.

The ideal candidate has experience in the financial services, financial inclusion or fintech. Excellent written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Content strategy and content marketing

  • Create content marketing plans that align with Customer Acquisition goals
  • Create and deliver on internal communications initiatives
  • Write, edit and review content for blogs, email campaigns
  • Manage all social media and online profiles

Brand building and PR

  • Oversee all branding initiatives
  • Work with suppliers to develop branded collateral
  • Develop and improve on branded templates for all communication
  • Implement our brand initiatives in-market to build brand awareness
  • Responsible for visual and verbal identity and brand guidelines
  • Work with and manage PR agencies in-market to build awareness
  • Collaborate with in-market teams for in-market events and conferences

Management

  • Report on all Communication Team activities to top management
  • Lead a team of 2-5 individuals and collaboratively set performance goals
  • Engage with leaders of other teams within Oradian
  • Manage work flow and be accountable for meeting KPIs


Requirements and competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, native-level fluency
  • Experience managing design agencies and content creators
  • 5-10 years of experience working in communication teams/functions, preferably in financial inclusion, financial services or fintech
  • Expertise in MS Word, MS Powerpoint, Adobe InDesign, MailChimp
  • Professional experience in developing countries
